WHAT IS APA?

The moment you arrive, ZORBA will be ready to set sail! The yacht will be fully stocked with fuel, running water, and provisions based on your personal food and drink preferences. Additionally, it will be equipped with any water toys you may have requested. To facilitate this preparation, for crewed charters, the Charterer pays an upfront estimated amount for the charter expenses, known as the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). For ZORBA, the APA is set at 20% of the charter fee and is collected with the final payment before your charter.

Before your charter begins, the APA is forwarded to the Captain, who arranges all provisions, including food and drink, in line with your preferences. Throughout your trip, the Captain will make payments as necessary, keep receipts, and provide regular updates on the APA balance. Should the actual expenses exceed the initial APA, the Captain will inform you, allowing you to manage any additional costs as needed.

At the end of your charter, the Captain will present a full breakdown of the APA expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
